The Team Zodwa Project : Reflections and highlights of 2015 - Reach out be a hero
2015 was a busy and exciting year with many changes and new direction needed bearing in mind I have a full time job as a Paramedic and have to rely on my off days to carry out my community work. I fly solo and therefore am only able to do what I can with limitations.
I continued doing my work with Meals on Wheels concentrating mostly on our Bella vista project for most of the year. I brought Discovery Health on board through my partnership with EatFresh. They had committed to spending 1 year on the project. so much was done and I am forever grateful to them as well as Meals on Wheels Care Giver Vicky Sepp.

then earlier this year it was the launch of RAK2015 - Random Acts of Kindess with my mate Brent Lindeque

we continued to supply food from various Eatfresh branches both in Johannesburg and Durban going to Meals on Wheels

then towards the end of the year I was asked to spend some time with St Vincent de Paul which is the community projects section of the Catholic Church worldwide they even have a seat at the UN.
As I am Catholic it seemed the right thing to do and many of The Team Zodwa projects going forward will be in partnership with SVDP. They had asked me for some years to assist and now was the right time! we have some very exciting projects set up for 2016.

Team Zodwa made a donation and project managed the memorial garden at the Fairview fire station for two fallen brothers killed in the line of duty.

our Friday nights men's feeding project now 20 years old still going strong thanks to my awesome husband and his friends.

our inspirational stories project is in full swing and we look forward to swing many more in 2016
