The Team Zodwa Project: Reach out be a hero! - Freedom Park November 2015
Today I joined the team to take food parcels that we had packed earlier for the weekend in Kliptown to the Blessed Gerard Joseph Catholic Church in Freedom Park.
. Super excited. Please note permission was granted for the photos. We are currently experiencing a drought and it was very dry and dusty.
The very dusty and dry streets of Freedom Park, Soweto
some people have started encroaching on the church land so it will be fantastic once the border fence is up!
This church was built by the parishioners of St Charles Catholic Church Victory Park some time back. I am proud to say that my family bought a few bricks! Many new and exciting projects will be kicked off in 2016 so watch this space
Once we left Freedom park St Joseph Church we made our way to a family home where the grandmother was ill and could not come to the church. Her two little grandchildren stole my heart!!
2 weeks ago their back room which stored all the little girls stuff was burnt to the ground in a fire.
