Team Zodwa/Khulisa NYDA Programme 2014: Moffat view youth help with ABSA Bank Cook-Off
NYDA Moffat View cook-off - 2014
The recent rain has unfortunately prevented the youth from working in gardens and cleaning the spruit up. The Team Zodwa Project NYDA volunteers have however still managed to keep very busy thanks to Vicky Sepp from Meals on Wheels who had been able to accommodate the youth.
Great excitement for the youth when Meals on Wheels Rifle Range had a cook off with ABSA Barclays Bank and some of the youth assisted.

our Team Zodwa NYDA volunteers rose to the challenge!!

A huge amount of ingredients was needed for this big cook-off!!!!

the youth hard at work and Blue Ribbon supplied the bread - that you guys you rock, AGAIN!!

The cook off begins .....and ACTION!

the ready cooked hot meals where then placed in containers and taken to Moffat view for distribution.

This was a very busy and productive day - the cook-off managed to feed 700 hungry people. Lots of tired but very happy volunteers and 700 filled tummies - a great and rewarding day for all involved.
