Meals on Wheels Team Zodwa Project: Baragwanath Palliative Care unit.
Baragwanath Paediatric Palliative care Unit, Johannesburg

Today I met with the moms, some of the kiddies and helped Meals on wheels Care Givers to collection information about the needs of each of the moms and their special needs children.
This is an amazing unit run by dedicated doctors.
Meals on Wheels help to put food, grocery and toiletry packs together for the moms.
Please contact me if you are able to assist with items from clothing, prams, nappies and toiletries.

Alot of effort has been made to make the waiting and family care facility bright and cheerful.

The food from Meals on Wheels we brought along to feed the moms and children
This really pulled at the heart strings. These are memory box to celebrate the precious little life cut short. There are just far too many memory boxes here, it is gut wrenching.

the phone that now lies untouched and silent...........................

Toys, a school shoe and a small slipper --- reminders of the little souls that have left, to play no more. Eish man!!!

Time to get to work and fill out the forms and collect information and to find out what each of the individual needs are for each child and their families.l
The Beautiful murals that have been there for as long as I can remember!!!
