Team Zodwa/Khulisa NYDA Programme: Moffat view feeding programme
Moffat View NYDA.
Today our awesome volunteers helped to clean up the around the soup kitchen.
In the past 2 weeks they have been busy collecting all the rubble for collection and cutting the grass. It has been hard work.
The volunteer ladies from Moffat View Meals on Wheels Feeding programme cook food 3 times a week. this is the only meal for most of the little ones.
This is really a poor area and the volunteers will only feed the children and take a meal for themselves and their families as "payment" for cooking to food. The food is provided by donations to Meals on Wheels.
They also helped sort out and pack the food from our Team Zodwa container that was donated my Richmark some time back.
Then they interacted some of the very tired little tots!!
