Meals on Wheels Escourt Building the future in Rural areas!!

Meals on Wheels Community Services Estcourt,  embraced the chance to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s life for the whole of July.

Together with our stakeholders, we heeded the call for action and encouraged people to recognise their individual power to make an imprint and change the world around them.

"In alignment to the Nelson Mandela Foundation, we strongly believe that indeed a global movement for positive change begins with small actions. As each person acts, they fuel momentum toward positive change, raising awareness and expanding the reach of Mr Mandela’s values – fighting injustice, helping people in need and practicing reconciliation.
2014 is particularly symbolic as we work to honour a great South African statesman and make every day a Mandela Day as we mark South Africa’s 20 years of democratic freedom.
YOU ARE WELCOME to join us at KwaDlamini, Ntabamhlophe as we join hands with many community members and/or stakeholders to renovate a depiladated building into a valuable Service Centre. This centre will in turn be of community use covering the following aspects: adult & youth empowerment, research, counselling and Food distribution to name a few.
WOZANI MAQHAWE. LET US MAKE EACH DAY A MANDELA DAY!!!"

"In July, South Africa celebrates former president Nelson Mandela's birthday. 18 July has been declared Nelson Mandela International Day, but as Meals On Wheels Community Services Estcourt, we embrace the chance to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s life for the whole of July. Together with our stakeholders, this gives everyone the opportunity to heed the call to action for people to recognise their individual power to make an imprint and change the world around them.

Well done Meals on Wheels - Changing Lives in rural areas in the far corners of South Africa!
